THE FREEDOM OF A JILGERO

When the birds hide
the stars mix
hiding behind its own flashes.
The light goes out and only the silence remains.

And the night passed with great sleeplessness,
reaching the desired light again at a brisk pace.
And next to the day, his joyous chirps.

I confess that last night,
dancing with my shadow
I banished my fears.

Now I feel strong, free,
I'm not afraid of him anymore
and when the night comes,
I will dance with my shadow again
And I will never again let the stars
hide your own sparkles from my eyes.
I will search like the free bird for new horizons
where my sad and faded memories finally fade away
of a moonless night.
